Yuletide 2016 Letter
Dear Author,
Hi! This is my first time participating in Yuletide, so I'm a little excited and nervous at the same time. Thank you for writing for me, and I hope this ends up fun for the both of us!
I hope I am both clear enough to give you a good idea of what to write, while at the same time not limiting your creativity. You can feel free to take prompts from my requests below, but if you're suddenly hit with a lighting bolt and get ideas that slightly deviate from said requests, please feel free to follow those trains of thought! My requests are more like loose guidelines--I really welcome anything from these fandoms and would be happy to receive anything involving them.
Tsukiuta
how to consume:
daisuki.net has the anime, and there are a few translations of drama cds floating around on the internet on various blogs
why I like tsukiuta:
If I had to choose why I fell in love with tsukiuta, it'd have to be the strange, dysfunctional, yet adorable and at times heartwarming ways the members fit together like an unexpected but well-connected family. I especially love the dynamics of the Procellarum members--they're all very individual, some just a little quirky, some downright weird, but they all mesh together in really interesting, adorable ways and love/trust each other either in spite of or because of those peculiarities. You definitely don't have to include the entire cast, but I'd love to see interaction between Procellarum members that show the dynamics of their relationships and how they've come to fit in each others' lives.
iDOLiSH7
how to consume:
The mobile game is available for free on iOS and Android! There are also story translations on this blog as far as I know.
why I like iDOLiSH7:
I fell for i7 because of the characters--they're all lovable and adorable as idol boys with good seiyuu tend to be, but I loved how they all had their own problems to face and how the story was outright entertaining and didn't shy away from adding dramatic flair. It's just a good fun ride to be on, and the way all the boys support and egg each other on does things to my fujo heart. I especially fell for the re:vale boys and Banri, and love the interactions between Ryuu and Sougo the #1 Trigger fanboy (thanks i7 anniversary story).
Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu
how to consume: Crunchyroll has it!
why I like this:
I hate this series (read: I hate how much I fell in love with it and it left me broken-hearted).
Sukeroku(Hatsutarou) and Yakumo (Kikuhiko) are both such interesting characters, and get even more interesting when together. My heart did several Things at all the subtle hints between them--those furtive looks of longing, unnecesary and prolonged physical contact, constant bickering, letting the other in to their lives when they could shut them out, I. I'd honestly be happy to receive anything new involving them, even just one of them. I'm clutching my face thinking of them right now. (I'm sorry for being unintelligible at this point I've been travelling nonstop on little sleep o<-<)
---
The "No" List:
I don't have a lot of "no"s, but I am generally uncomfortable with mpreg/ABO, and don't care too much for crackfic.
---
I'm sorry this letter is a little late and a little messy, and I completely understand if you don't see this til it's late!
